     cavern, surrounded by armed Bajoran "terrorists" ]

   [ Data rushes into the cavern with a phaser drawn, Troi is following him ]

   [ Picard in the ready room ]

  Picard (to Admiral):  She has no business serving on ANY starship.

...BUT IS SHE THE LINK TO A FEDERATION CONSPIRACY?

   [ The Enterprise maneuvering near a planet's large moon ]

   [ Ensign Ro talking with Guinan, in her office ]

  Ro:  There is more going on here than anybody on the ship realizes.

  Guinan:  <distressed smile>

NOW PICARD MUST DEFY STARFLEET ORDERS, OR FACE A TERRORIST ATTACK.

   [ The Enterprise and a Cardassian ship flying in formation ]

   [ Picard on the bridge;  Two alien ships on the 
     viewscreen, converging on the Enterprise ]

  Cardassian (on viewscreen):  You have one hour to withdraw.

  Ro:  This mission will end in bloodshed.

   [ The Enterprise maneuvers to avoid the two incoming ships; 
     One fires an energy bolt, destroying a Cardassian vessel ]
