ON A DEVASTATED SHIP...

   [ Riker, Worf, Data, and several Romulans are on the bridge of a
     ship being shaken; external view of a small Romulan scout ship ]

  Riker:  Enterprise, extend shields!

...TWO LIVES VANISH INTO THIN AIR...

   [ Ro and Geordi "phasing" on the transporter platform ]

   [ Riker and Worf, still on the Romulan ship ]

  Riker:  Where are they?

...LEAVING ONLY ONE TRAGIC CONCLUSION...

   [ Geordi and Ro talking (Ro wears a red headband in this episode)]

  Ro:  We're dead, Geordi.

...THEY'RE CAUGHT IN A GHOSTLY LIMBO.

   [ Geordi walks through the console in engineering (a la QL);
    he is totally "invisible" to Data, who is standing there ]

  Geordi:  It's like i'm here, but i'm not here.

   [ Geordi pushes his hand through a console ]

FACED WITH A THREAT FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE.

   [ An invisible Romulan on the Enterprise bridge;  He points a phaser
     at Ro; Other crewpersons walk by without seeing either of them ]

  Romulan:  Do not move.

   [ Different scene:  Ro and the Romulan are fighting; Ro hits him several
     times and he collapses; Crew in the background pay no attention to them ]

  Geordi:  Ro!

   [ Geordi walks in between Data and a crewman having a conversation ]

...ON AN ALL NEW EPISODE OF STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.


Short version:
