Promos for the ST:TNG season premiere episode "Descent, Part II" 
(#253) were released today.  The actual program will be out on 
Saturday, September 18th... followed by an all new season of TNG.


Here is the promo copy (announcer):

DATA HAS JOINED FORCES WITH THE ULTIMATE OF ENEMIES...

   [ Geordi, Picard, and Troi in the "meeting hall" surrounded by Borg ]

  Troi:  Data, I can sense feelings in you.

   [ Lore talking to Picard ]

  Lore:  I've helped him to break free!

HE VOWS TO KILL THE CREW WITHOUT MERCY...

   [ Troi aiming a weapon... ]

  Data:  Drop it, or i'll break his neck!

   [ Data (very angry) grabs a visorless Geordi by the neck ]

...ON A MISSION TO DESTROY THE FEDERATION.

   [ meanwhile back on the bridge... ]

  Cap'n Bev:  Helm, get is out of here.

   [ The Borg ship fires and hits the Enterprise ]

   [ Geordi on an exam table, Data aims a beam at his head ]

  Data:  I will destroy the existing brain cells.

   [ back in the meeting hall... ]

  Lore (to Data):  I want you to kill Picard.

   [ Data aims a weapon at Picard ]
